Here's my scene of Don Bluth's Cyber Garage Project. That is a 3- minute short, directed by Don Bluth. The project will be over the 26th of October. It was really fun to be a part of the production team :)
So let me introduce myself: My name is Beatrice Matis and I was born July 1990 in Bielefeld, Germany.
I was very influenced by my best friend and aunt Bettina Schmidt. She always drew and painted something so since I was born we drew together. So all in all I drew my whole life. My most favourite tool was and is the pencil. I love rough sketches! I was always impressed by animation, especially by films like 'Bambi', 'The Fox and the Hound' and 'The lion king'. When I was 8 years old I could not imagine that each and every picture must be drawn. I didn't want to be an animator then (at this time I wanted to be a searcher in egypt and wanted to find an old Pharao mummy). But when I was 14 I realized that I drew all the time anyway. So the thought of making animation came back. One year later I heared an interview with Andreas Deja. About his career and how he came to Disney. That really impressed and motivated me to turn towards animation and this enthusiasm never went away till now.
My next goal is to finish High School and then make an intership, so that I can apply to a film acadamy to study animation.
